![]() ![]() ![]() I guess I need to hear it run, that will be the ultimate test! Still and all, it's the better machine IF all other systems are go. Also it has some bizzar chuck mounting system that will make chucks harder to find, and/or will require custom machining for the backplate. The crossfeed is chunky (probably just a bearing for the screw, but if they are angular bearings that could be a few $$$) and the tailstock is partly disassembled, presumably due to a stripped nut in the quill. ![]() I'm still rather leaning toward the TOS as it comes with a collet closer, 3200rpm top spindle speed, plus it is just a far better built machine. Hopefully a change gear is not required, as I did not see one with the machine. I gave the TOS threading chart a pretty good look over, and did not see a 13tpi setting, however it was partly blocked by some other machinery that is being stored directly in front of it. ![]()
